This Cookie Policy explains how daivietweb inc (“we”) uses cookies and similar technologies on daivietweb.com. It complements our Privacy Policy, which covers personal data you submit through quote requests, contact forms, or recruitment flows.

1. Technologies covered

We use HTTP cookies, browser storage such as localStorage for remembering your cookie consent decision, and occasionally session identifiers for short-lived authenticated preview environments when we provide them to clients. We refer to these collectively as “cookies” unless we specify otherwise.

2. Google Tag Manager and analytics

Our site loads Google Tag Manager (GTM). GTM may inject tags for measurement or marketing only as configured. Non-essential tags fire after you grant consent through our banner where required. Aggregated statistics help us understand which service lines—custom development, e-commerce, CMS work—generate interest among U.S. SMB visitors. We do not use cookie data to make credit decisions.

3. Legal bases and consent

Strictly necessary cookies that are essential to provide the service you request (for example security tokens, load balancing, or remembering that you answered the banner) may be set under applicable exemptions. For analytics or similar optional categories, we rely on consent where the law requires it. You may withdraw consent by clearing site data and revisiting daivietweb.com.

4. Categories

Strictly necessary. Support secure form submission, mitigate basic automated abuse, maintain session continuity for approved staging links, and store your consent state.

Analytics (optional). If enabled, measure page views, scroll engagement proxies, referral URLs, device category, and coarse geographic region derived from IP. We use this to prioritize content on insights and case-study pages.

Functional. Remember minor UI preferences during a session when implemented.

Marketing. We do not run third-party behavioral ad networks on this marketing site by default. If a campaign adds retargeting pixels, we will update this policy and banner categories.

5. Third-party embeds

Pages may embed maps, scheduling widgets, or chat tools. Interacting with those elements may cause third parties to set cookies governed by their policies. We do not control those technologies.

6. Retention

Session cookies expire when you close the browser. Persistent cookies typically expire within twelve months unless removed earlier. GTM-related identifiers follow Google’s documentation and your browser settings.

7. Your controls

Use browser settings to block third-party cookies, delete stored data per site, or browse privately. Aggressive blocking may break forms or require repeated consent prompts. Industry ad opt-out tools apply mainly to advertising networks.

8. Do Not Track

DNT signals are not standardized; combine our banner with browser controls to express preferences.

9. International visitors

If you access the site from the EEA, UK, or similar regions, we apply transparency and consent rules for non-essential cookies consistent with applicable law.

10. Children

The site targets business audiences; we do not knowingly profile children for marketing through cookies.

11. Updates

We will revise this policy when our stack changes. The page header date reflects the latest substantive update.
